First edition of the splendid large-sized Didot publication. With engr. title and 201 (16 colored and 1 partly colored) copper plates (of which ten double-page) as well as 45 coppers in the text. Contemp. boards with gilt lettering. Imperial folio. - Various degrees of foxing, somewhat edgeworn, binding and label renewed. All in all fine and broadmargined copy of the lavishly printed publication.
